What the story is about: A lonely young alien comes to Earth to find a friend. He does not take the time to learn about Earth. Therefore he stumbles from one mistake to another
Lands on Golden Gate Bridge during rush hour. causing traffic jam and allowing humans to see him
Tries to hide in Alcataz prison. gets chased by ghosts of dead prisoners.
lands next to small grocery store and crashes into car in parking lot
orders coffee and pastries for breakfast. burns mouth on hot coffee.
Feel free to be creative with the cover. You can incorporate any of this into cover.

HERE IS A DESCRIPTION OF ALIEN IN HUMAN FORM:

Lincoln is a fuzzy golden retriever with a bright blue
collar, blue and white bandana around his neck, wearing a pair of sunglasses. 

 Du Jour stands
about four feet tall, so skinny his bones protrude, with deep brown skin and
caramel colored eyes. His blond hair falls in thick dreadlocks over his
shoulders and curly bangs frame his face. Thick, square, orange framed glasses
cover half of his tiny face while his teeth sport metal braces with green and
pink rubber bands. He is covered neck to ankle in a Japanese silk kimono. The
robe hangs to his ankles resting atop his bulky, white grandma tennis shoes
complete with Velcro straps. Topping it off is a purple top hat with long
peacock feathers.

Desguised as a strange looking human named Dujour, he enrolls in school and attempts to blend in. Soon, he finds his friend, but she’s not what he expected. Dujour must fight for his new friendship, escape alien hunters and return to his ship before he's captured and imprisoned.
