I want the face of my character to take over the front cover. Almost "in your face". I want to purchase all rights to the art and I want it to be exclusive to me. Please use the photos as inspirations. Please use this text as a guide to what Dr. Grafungi really looks like:
Oh my, pardon me. I haven’t even introduced Dr. Grafungi and yet I am already talking about his house…
Well, if you were to describe Dr. Grafungi at his essence…his being…his very core, he is the epitome of the odd, strange and peculiar.
In fact, Dr. Grafungi has a Ph.D. in Extraneology…Extraneology at Windsor College in Binea. Windsor is a small school in a small nation that is “big” on strange. (But I can tell you about Binea, some other time.)
Not only did he study Extraneology there, he became an expert at all things strange. A Doctor of Philosophy in Extraneology…how strange!
And if that weren’t enough, he even looks strange.
His head is shaped sort of like a very large pear. His cheeks are rosy red from running around a lot. His nose is big, red and round like a rubber ball. He wears large, thick eyeglasses that look like lab goggles…since he is legally blind. He has a handle-bar mustache so long that it almost looks like the wings on small airplane. It is so long that he has to walk sideways through doors. And he combs, trims and waxes his handle-bar mustache to perfection each day.
And his hair! The hair on his head shoots up like small little rockets blasting off of his scalp. If only he would comb it once in a while…but he doesn’t. That would be too normal…and normal he is not.
Peculiar, yes! Normal, no.
Even his voice is weird…that is, when he talks, which he rarely does. When he talks, his words come out as if he is laughing them at you and eating them all at the same time. His voice sounds like a squawking parrot with stomach cramps blowing a trumpet in a sewer drain…or something like that.
And as for his grammar, he always says the opposite of what he means to say. Some say it is a game he plays and others say he does it to get your attention; but even so, even his grammar odd, strange and peculiar. Leave it to Dr. Grafungi to make straight-laced grammar…weird.
He is never seen without his lab coat and it would seem as if it is the only clothing he owns.
Please create the representation using the foregoing. I really want the book cover to focus on his eyes, then his features. I want to appear that Dr. Grafungi is looking out of the book directly at the child.
Do not copy this and be sure you do not violate copyright laws. I want something original to choose from.
