Designing Your Career in Architecture-Best practices that will help you "move up faster becoming more successful
After architectural school Gary landed two perfect jobs that helped him launch his architectural firm in 1980 that is going strong to this day. He worked for CRS Architects learning the best "client oriented" practices then had an opportunity to work for American Express for 7 years as Director of Worldwide Planning and Design. Being the "client" helped him build a firm with unique services.
The book addresses the needs of students in their last two years of architectural school giving them all the tips to getting their first job; to recent graduates in firms all the tips to move up the ladder faster and; to architects in firms the information they need to become partners or able to move out and start their own firm. The book shows readers how to deliver their services from a clients' point of view, not the architects' point of view.
Students in architectural schools, graduates in architectural or design firms, architects and firm owners, professors of professional practice. The book should become the standard for Professional Practice in schools.
Book cover type
