Super creative and with an amazing, relentless work ethic - very pleasant to deal with. There were a lot of designs to choose from but this won hands down.

I have had many compliments on the cover design. The artist worked well with me, although this is my first book and I often did not know exactly what was needed. Excellent service and design!

Aileen Yi Fan
Aileen Yi Fan is a committed lifelong learner and an advocate for change. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering and a master’s degree in business administration. Aileen is the owner of a boutique marketing and PR agency serving small businesses. She believes that she teaches what she needs to learn the most. This book is a perfect example of her invest-learn-teach formula. Aileen loves sharing her life experiences, challenges and lessons so like-minded people can gather, learn, and inspire each other. Her two beautiful children, Ian and Amy, inspire her to be the best version of herself, and to make a little progress every day—physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually.
Nearsightedness (myopia) has become an epidemic. When facing myopia diagnosis, most people feel that they have no choice but to get prescription lenses. Based on scientific studies, this book offers a holistic view of belief, body, mind, environment, lifestyle and habit formation play a role in myopia prevention and natural vision improvement. The goal of the book is to empower people to do something good for their eyes one action and one habit at a time.
Parents (with kids 6-18 years old), children (11-18 years old), anyone who is myopic (near-sighted). Perhaps teachers and school policy makers.
Book cover type
Amazon KDP and IngramSpark for now.
Amazon Kindle first, probably Apple and Google.
What colors do you want to see in your design?
The design is to stand out on Amazon platform as a small thumbnail, as well as a 5.25”x8” book with about 182 pages (It is 30,000 words). The imagery of the cover should make the viewer feel that the book and the author have the authority in myopia and eye care.
A powerful, appealing and appropriate cover design is vital for a book’s success. The style I like is professional, abstract, voice of self-empowerment, uplifting, encouragement to build new health and eye care habits. My goals for the book cover are:
• Standout. Catching eyes. Crisp and clean.
• Easy to read the title and subtitle. Titles clearly displayed.
• Draw attention and stand out from an Amazon thumbnail image.
• Get people’s interest to find out more.
• Author name not too big.
• Not too dark, not noisy, not too busy.
• 2-3 colors.
* I also need source file (Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator - just in case I need changes and can't find the designer). Thank you!
