The Glass Planet
A powerfully compelling 'call to action' to save a futuristic Earth-on-life-support from over exploitation. With the erosion of the natural world due to the human aesthetic of industry and negligence, The Glass Planet is a game-changing science-fiction-fantasy political thriller!
General adult audience; Political Thriller audience; Sci-Fi genre of Transhumanism audience.
e-book cover for Barnes & Noble Press (.Jpg or .png 5KB to 2MB; Height and width at least 1400 pixels) The Glass Planet cover is to reflect a 'rough' image of environmentally distressed Earth on technological life support (i.e. solar, wind, water 'plumbing' technologies) both Earth based and in orbit. Metaphor 'glass planet' illustrates thinning atmosphere with space station network-literally a relief measure to inhabit population in orbit. The orbiting satellites, space craft, space stations float like the "snow particles" set in chaotic motion once a 'glass planet' is shaken Depth of Field is open for interpretation.. Color scheme blue, green, brown, yellow for Earth. Air pollution and atmospheric condition is the designer's discretion. The space station network is vibrant, colorful designs with each facility or craft uniquely shaped with style (number of images in orbit is at the designer's discretion). A+ if clever use (background preferably) and subtle inclusion of 1776 American Flag of 13 stars in circle (red & white stripes optional). A big plus if an ominous foreshadowing is depicted on the periphery of the space station network, as posed by a military recon-space station infamously nicknamed "Dark Eagle", as in Benedict Arnold.

And then… they selected a winner!
The three stock images she selected for the first trial were right on the spot. If I wouldn't have been busy doing other things, we would have finished the cover in record time. She did a great job implementing the book's cover changes. I highly recommend SusansArt.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
