I love the way Sumit incorporated the elements I uploaded, and selected the appropriate colors, fonts, and images to create an outstanding design that will pull in our readers. His intuitive grasp of placement, layout, and color gradation created a cover that everyone loves. Sumit was patient with my changes, and followed through on all the details for the final proof. An outstanding and talented designer!

Book cover type
Kindle Direct Publishing
A clean, modern design that features the Title, [subtitle if it doesn't take up too much space], the photo of the author shooting, and the author's name. My color preferences tend toward medium to lighter blues; gradual gradients could be incorporated if they help the reader focus on the action and title. Please read the book excerpt to get some feel for the subject matter. The Table of Contents is helpful. The entire book is 288 pages of text. I've uploaded a Cover template that was created by KDP for placement. I don't yet have an ISBN and barcode, but will obtain those shortly.
What to avoid
Avoid stock imagery, bright colors (red, yellow, greens), grunge fonts, and anything that detracts from the dignity of the book. No "looking through a sight picture", or cutesy art approaches.
