I am fiery, fierce and blunt. I'm an Aries. I'm ambitious, passionate and courageous. I'm highly intuitive but practical, witty, mischievous but also full of wisdom. I have been inflicted with the wanderer's gene and can travel on a whim. My element is FIRE and I want the cover to convey who I am as a person. I'm cheeky and don't take myself seriously. I'm all about connection, meaning and living life to the full. I talk about difficult topics in a light-hearted way.
Leap Afraid is a an inspirational book full of wit and wisdom that gives women the courage to turn the worst thing possible into the biggest adventure of their life
Women in their mid 20s-early 30s, women who are facing a major life crisis (health challenges, job loss, homelessness, relationship breakup, death of a loved one, career or business change), mainly US and UK, female business owners and women in a job who have a dream and dream of one day writing a book,

Visually appealing Synopsis: This book is for women who are facing life-shattering events, such as a painful breakup, losing a job, their home, health and financial crisis and are ready for a change Genre: Non-fiction Cover Colors: White, red, blue (I love reds!) If you are not keen on red and blue something with red please!!! (think browns, oranges, tangerines) The theme of the book is change/transformation, overcoming fears See file brand inspiration to see what my brand is about (please note the file attached is not the same thing as cover samples as I haven't included these for a good reason!) Think passion, power, determination, courage, adventure, exploration, transformation, change, energy, wit, wisdom, mischief.
What to avoid
Hard to read, fancy fonts; not too keen on pink, violet. My element is not water so no sentimental, airy-fairy watery covers please. I want something a bit more decisive but that is not screaming at the reader. I want to convey depth, warmth but also power, passion, energy, wit and wisdom. My spirit animal is tiger rather than butterflies ha ha I prefer dynamic rather than static images (think action, movement). I don't like overcrowded covers where there's so much going on the title or subtitle blends in and doesn't stand out.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their book cover.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
sandra_stachowicz collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
