I'm a 28-year old bestselling writer, blogger, and speaker. My work has been featured by several media outlets including NPR, FoxNews, CBS, EWTN, Our Sunday Visitor, National Review, and Christianity Today, and I'm a regular guest on Catholic radio. My first book, "The Church and New Media: Blogging Converts, Online Activists, and Bishops who Tweet" (Our Sunday Visitor), won first-place at the 2012 Catholic Press Association Awards. My second book, the official Study Guide for Fr. Robert Barron's documentary, "CATHOLICISM: The New Evangelization", debuted in August 2013. When Our Sunday Visitor made my third book available for pre-order, "Saints and Social Justice: A Guide to Changing the World,” it became the #1 bestselling Catholic book on Amazon within 24 hours. My latest book, "The Saints' Favorite Books," has been downloaded almost 10,000 times. I run two popular websites, BrandonVogt.com and StrangeNotions.com, which together average 100,000 unique visitors per month. I also have over 28,000 followers through email, Twitter, and Facebook.
What's your vision?
I need a book cover designed for a new eBook and video course titled, “Read More Books Now: How to Double Your Reading and Remember What You Read". I need a front cover, back cover, and spine design. The cover should be a height/width ratio of 1.6 or 1563 pixels wide and 2500 pixels tall. I would like the cover design delivered as JPG files, along with the original source files, whether Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, or Photoshop. NOTE: The subtitle ("How to Double Your Reading and Remember What You Read") does NOT have to appear on the cover. In terms of style, I like books that include a strong visual metaphor that depicts the subject. I want the book to look like it would fit on the New York Times bestsellers list. Books we like that fit this style include: "Lit" by Tony Reinke "Platform" by Michael Hyatt "Outliers" by Malcolm Gladwell "Thinking, Fast and Slow" by Daniel Kahneman "Boundaries" by Henry Cloud and John Townsend "The Tipping Point" by Malcolm Gladwell "What the Dog Saw" by Malcolm Gladwell "How Children Succeed" by Paul Tough "The Noticer" by Andy Andrews "Die Empty" by Todd Henry
Attached you'll find a couple different headshots to be incorporated on the back cover.
