My designer put forth amazing effort and captured the mood of my book and my genre
Bravoboy was very responsive and delivered quality work.
quarterbackTB has been phenomenal throughout this process! He really got my vision and patiently tweaked the design until it was absolutely perfect. I intend to return to him for the next two books in my series. GREAT experience with a fantastic artist!
First experience working with a designer on 99designs and I couldn't be happier with what Milau provided! Willing to work with you, provide plenty of samples, ideas, and is also very talented! I'll be sure to keep an eye out for Milau when the next book comes out. (:

How MattLeyshonAuth started their book cover journey
Jack the Ripper: Live and UnCut
Matt was born in Australia, spending most of his childhood in Liverpool, a suburb in Sydney.
He has been an avid fan of the Jack the Ripper mystery and has shown a keen interest for it for nearly three decades. He is thrilled to finally complete his first novel and provide homage to Jack at the same time.
Matt moved to the USA in 2004 and lives in Tampa, Florida, with his wife Susan and two children Reece and Charlotte.
Jack The Ripper. The most coveted murderer in history as well as the most elusive. For over a century the pursuit of Jack and proof of his identity continues to come up short. The murders remain unsolved and there is no conclusive evidence pointing to a single suspect.
Investigative Reporter Carl Axford is offered the story of a lifetime. When recruited by Limbo, (a covert group that uses unique technology to solve cold cases), Axford is presented the chance to crack the greatest cold case in existence. Catch Jack The Ripper!
The opportunity of a front row seat to the Jack The Ripper murders seems too good to be true. What will Axford discover in 1888? Will he be able to identify history’s greatest criminal and bring him to justice? Or does Victorian Whitechapel hold further secrets that influence events of the past as well as the present?
Jack The Ripper may not be the only mystery Axford has to solve.

Book cover type
What colors do you want to see in your design?
The book is a mainstream thriller, so not too much Jack on the cover. The story involves solving cold cases using time travel, so implying a time travel theme, spiraling clock or appearance of a clock for example would be good. Clock or time should be background not foreground though. Protagonist is an eye witness to the murders and his presence is spiritual. Protagonist dresses and looks similarly to Rami Malek in Mr Robot.
Cold case solving with time travel will be the theme of a series.
What to avoid
Nothing graphic, bloody or confrontational. Broody or sinister much preferred. Darker colors preferred as well. Fonts are fair game but nothing too cheesy....something dripping with blood or knife's edge font for example are no good.
