Positive Impact: A Business Leader’s Guide to “Doing Well” by “Doing Good” During Challenging Times is a business book. It is written in a very accessible and readable style, for wide readership among business executives, entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, and policymakers. The book contains many stories and case studies of organizations positively impacting their communities, employees, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders while thriving as profitable businesses.
We are looking for your creativity in designing a cover that will attract the key audiences to this book, such as CEOs, business leaders, entrepreneurs, social impact leaders, nonprofit executives, and government policymakers in communities around the worlds. We expect the book to particularly appeal to entrepreneurs and executives interested in social impact beyond the usual bottom line/profit incentive.
Book cover type
Other color requirements
We are open to any colors or palette, but are looking for something bold and attractive. The author likes white and cobalt blue, but again, we are open to anything beautiful.
The book is about the ways businesses can make a positive social impact, how they are connected to the community and have an obligation to stakeholders outside the business itself. One theme running through the book is how businesses are integrated and intertwined with their communities and stakeholders—and how they have a responsibility to the community and stakeholders beyond just making a profit and paying the employees. So graphics that show entanglement, or things that are intertwined, or connected, or woven together could work. Another concept in the book is the “challenging times” referenced in the subtitle. Many of the examples in the book are of entrepreneurs and business leaders thinking outside the box in times of crisis, and coming up with new ways both to do business and to positively impact people or communities during a crisis. So graphic reference to a dramatic challenge such as climate-related crisis could work.
