Overlooked: The Importance of Renewing the Mind
Dominique J. Hardy
Dominique J. Hardy is a voice of wisdom to this generation, and she is a transformational women's leader based in Georgia. Dominique's primary mission is to demystify devotion by addressing the hindrances that impact people's sense of identity, purpose, and intimacy with God.
Have you ever felt overlooked or unappreciated? Perhaps you thought some variation of, “No one truly sees me,” or “I wonder if I am enough.” You are not alone. This book is for you! "Overlooked: The Importance of Renewing the Mind" provides practical wisdom for navigating various dimensions of obscurity. Indeed, it can be a difficult art to navigate through seasons when you feel insignificant and useless. For many, the hidden place of feeling invisible and receiving little encouragement, affirmation or credit for their efforts can seem like a cruel and unfair test. • How does a person of faith navigate through challenging seasons of feeling overlooked and undervalued? • How does a person of faith effectively navigate the range of emotions that come with secretly feeling inferior or insufficient? • Is it really possible to embrace abundance in anonymity? This book is designed to shift your perceptions of God’s good intentions towards you, especially through seasons of undesired hiddenness. As you journey through this study, you will encounter the God Who Sees You, El Roi, and gain an incredibly deep appreciation for your overlooked seasons. May this book become a Biblical resource for you in recognizing that being overlooked by people never means that you are overlooked by God.
People of faith, Christians, women seeking to learn how to be content and effectively navigate through feeling overlooked.
Book cover type
Don’t know yet
The image I provided below is only an idea of what I was thinking, but I am VERY open to whatever direction the designers want to go with the book, AS LONG AS the book cover is relevant to the summary of the book (back of the book summary) that I described above. The idea of the picture I attached below is the thought of being forsaken, perplexed, unseen, invisible and overlooked.
What to avoid
This is a serious subject about navigating through the vicissitudes of life for adults so I think staying away from a cartoonish tone is helpful. Lastly, please do NOT put a person on the cover. I don't want a person as the image because I find that very plain.
