The Seventh Crisis --- Why Millennials Must Re-establish Ordered Liberty
Bob MacGuffie and Antony Stark
The authors have been studying history and politics since college, some 50 years ago. They emerged as leaders in the Tea Party movement, leading rallies and providing thought leadership via numerous articles and speeches and media appearances. They have long believed that traditional Americans would face a reckoning with the American Left and their enablers in the Transnational Progressive movement. The authors believe we are in a pivotal historic crisis and the Millennial generation must lead the country through it.
Our book places our current national crisis in the context of recurring cycles of history, highlighted in the book, The Fourth Turning. Successive generations drive the events of history as they age and move through the stages of life. Extrapolating from the work of authors Strauss & Howe, these authors contend we have entered the Seventh Crisis, and following the historical cycle, the Millennial generation will need to assume the mantle and lead the country out of the Crisis. The book illuminates why Ordered Liberty should serve as the "animating spirit" in guiding the Millennials in their mission of restoring America to its foundation of individual freedom.
The target audience is the Millennial generation, ages 24-36, plus a large swath of the Gen-X generation aged 37-56. These generations will need to take actions recommended in the book. Baby Boomers considering themselves Conservative or Libertarian will also enjoy the book.
Book cover type
Since we are depicting a crisis there needs to be an ominous tone or background imagery to it using the reds and grays we selected above. The attached colors and imagery of the “China’s Vision of Victory” book (attached) is our preferred style (look up the book on Amazon to see exact colors). The book in your samples, "The Outsider Tales" is a cityscape layout similar to what we envision. Our envisioned cover image is a cityscape such as Park Ave down the center with Helmsley Building in center background. Buildings have been ransacked and/or partially boarded up – recognizable, but looking like a riot zone – perhaps some light smoke in the air. On the left sidewalk area would be a group of thuggish-looking, black-clad Antifa-like youths carrying Antifa and Anarchy flags as on the attached PDF. These figures should not look like cartoon characters. They should be shadowy shapes with no facial features. On the right would be a group of young patriotic types dressed in brighter, normal clothes (but no facial features) carrying American flags with one of them carrying a sign or flag on which can be visibly seen our “squared circle” symbol, which is also attached.
