A Cure for Concussions: Conquering the Culture of Fear & Empowering People to Full Recovery
Luke Cruickshank is an internationally accredited Physiotherapist in both Othopaedics and Sport Physiotherapy. He has extensive experience in dealing with concussions. Academically he has completed his Clinical Master's, during which he completed multiple concussion research projects. Clinically he specializes in the treatment of both concussions and Post-Concussion Syndrome. He also has vast field experience. He completed his Sport Physiotherapy Fellowship at the Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic, and he continues to work as a Sport Physiotherapist with local football and rugby teams.
This book is designed to dispel the misinformation about concussions. It helps the reader understand more about their brain, how to deal with concussion symptoms, and gives practical tools to build a badass brain.
This book was written for the general public. Specifically, it is geared towards parents with kids in sports, people who are experiencing concussion symptoms, clinicians who treat concussions and people who want practical tips to improve their brain health.
