Scorssery von Knobelsdorff
Scorssery is a man who appreciates the finer things in life, and has a strong relationship to the spiritual world. A former kickboxing champion who enjoys both jet set life and retreats to explore his spirituality.
This is a true story, authentic and real description of a man's journey through life. The cover shall not have a "fantasy" feeling, but correspond with the descriptions given in the outline of the cover. Spiritual, but REAL.
The typical 20-year old European man who is struggling to make sense of how to be a man, be macho, emotional, strong and romantic all at once, all while trying to figure out what life is really about. The reader is searching for answers to the question how to become happy.
Book cover type
We are looking for the perfect designer to create the book cover of an upcoming bestseller book, with foreword by Don Miguel Ruiz, New York Times bestselling author of The Four Agreements. The book is a true story that takes the reader on a spiritual journey from hell to enlightenment. Front cover surrounded by the symbol of the green (pale sandstone green) two headed snake, framing the page, with the two heads meeting in the top center of the front cover (see attached example of Toltec snake). Background color of front cover should be dark grey or black, with cracks in it, allowing light to break through (sunlight, warm color). Author name at the top of the front cover, right under the two snake heads in the top center. A grey scaled image of the pyramid of the sun in Teotihuacan, Mexico (image attached), under the author name, above the title. The title should be in 3D, making the illusion that the letters stand out from the book. Title font shall look like ancient sandstone bricks, with cracks in the stones to create an authentic look (see attached image, except the edges on the stone letters). The cracks in the background shall go out from the sandstone letters of the title, out towards the frame of the front cover, representing the light that comes from within. The subtitle - The story about a book that changed my life forever. Subtitle and author name written in a font that looks like typewriter font. The feeling of the cover is to create an ancient piece of brick, holding many secrets within. Back cover of book - Framed by the green two headed snake, same as on front cover. Background image, 3D image of face of half man/half tiger in a grey scale tone, allowing the back cover text to be presented on top of it (attached image of face). Attached a DRAFT of front cover idea, with certain elements missing.
