What a terrific artist to work with! I could tell right away that he not only understood the brief, but also showed creativity. If you are looking for to have a book cover designed, I would fully recommend n23art.
How Roldanca started their book cover journey
A Blind Man and his Monkey
Starting off his life in a small town outside of Medellin, Colombia, R.D. Roldan, a first generation immigrant, became a social worker, clergyman, Doctor in Theology and world traveller. A personal project, meant to share stories of his youth with his children, has turned into a rediscovery of his roots. Growing up in the 1970's and 1980's Medellin of Pablo Escobar, R.D. Roldan recounts his own experiences in light of a painful period of Colombian history. The author now resides in Louisiana with his wife and 4 children.
37 years after the suicide of his best friend, Joe Cardenas begins to have dreams of a time in his life that he would rather not remember. He has come a long way, he has done his best to atone for childhood sins, and he locked his memories away (or so he thought). His relentless dreams will not go away and he is forced to confront the trauma and tragedy of his best friends death in Envigado, Colombia during the time of Pablo Escobar.
