The Chronicles of Lucitopia
Josephine Angelini is a #1 international bestselling author. A Massachusetts native and the youngest of eight siblings, she graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in theater with a focus on the classics. She now lives in Los Angeles with her husband and daughter.
Illustrated Girl is the first book in an anthology series which takes place in a land called Lucitopia. It follows a teenager named Holly, who says a spell and it brings her to Lucitopia, a fairy tale land with magic, beautiful princesses, and brave knights, like Sir Torvold the Bold, a gorgeous heartthrob on a quest to defeat an evil sorcerer named Asphodel. Holly becomes Princess Pleasant exactly as she wished, but she gets there too late, altering the story, allowing for Asphodel to turn Lucitopia into a stinky, ugly, tetanus-ridden hellhole. If Holly doesn’t get out of Lucitopia in fifteen days, she’ll be stuck there for the rest of her life, which probably won’t be much longer considering she’s overdue for her shots.
Young girls 10-17 years of age.
The mood should be whimsical but not silly, leaning more towards the adventure/fantasy arthurian legend style than romance, but geared towards young girls. It should be pretty.

And then… they selected a winner!
I was so impressed by Wonderburg’s work in my first design project that I immediately started a new project for a book that’s only half written!
Imagine my surprise when the new project design, which couldn’t be more different than the previous, is even slicker - Wonderburg absolutely nailed the design on the first attempt and it only grew from there.
As with the first project, the designer was available around the clock to make any changes, innovated with her fantastic ideas and provided multiple variants of the final product that are each so good I’m considering adding some of them to the back of the book.
Thank you so much again - you’ll be my first point of contact for any future work!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
