Great design and responded in a timely fashion. Will be using again for the next project.

I like how big and bold the Earth is.
I love the simplicity of the concept.
Great use of type melded with design. You get this right away.
Bold, simple design based on the type
Planet in background, character in foreground

What colors do you want to see in your design?
UPDATE: I'm getting a lot of covers with stock images of Earth that have the title above it. This is a little too simple for what I'm after. I'm looking for something interesting and unexpected, not a stock photo with the title above it.
UPDATE 2: The cover should be character driven in some way, either abstractly or more concretely. This is the story of 6 people whose lives intersect as the planet ends.
WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR:
I'm looking for a simple, bold design with clean type that is large and legible. I'm looking for innovative ideas ... the cover could be entirely text driven, or maybe it's focused on an image of Earth. Something unexpected but intriguing.
Idea 1 - The Earth in the background being split apart from within and the characters in the foreground.
Idea 2 - "The Last Days of Earth" title with the Earth and/or characters seen within the type.
Idea 3 - Your best idea!
What to avoid
I'm not looking for anything that's cliche...no guy with a gun in front of a crumbling city. Also not just stock images of Earth with type above them. Also please no shots of asteroids smashing into the planet. This isn't that kind of story.
