How to Get Over a Guy You Love So Much: Strategies and Secrets to Heal a Broken Heart
Alexa Heartwell is a relationship coach who has helped couples address some of the most common problems standing in the way of happiness – infidelity, boredom, taking a partner for granted, financial issues and many others. Alexa obtained her master’s degree in counseling and clinical mental health at Concordia University-Irvine. She’d always been fascinated by romantic relationships and the challenges that couples have to face over the years. This fascination made Alexa pursue a career in the field of relationship coaching. Her approach towards relationship and marital problem resolution is compassionate and tailored to the needs of the individual couple. Through exercises and therapeutic guidance focused on communication, Alexa makes it easier for anyone to put themselves in their partner’s shoes and gain a better understanding of the other person’s perspective. How to Get a Guy Back is Alexa’s first book that aims to address one of the most common and difficult questions her female clients have. How to Get Over a Guy You Love So Much is her second title that focuses specifically on breakup recovery. Today, Alexa Heartwell lives in Sacramento with her husband and golden retriever. She’s an avid yoga practitioner, she’s into mindfulness and trying to make the most of every single day.
Getting over a breakup is difficult for everyone. Women who still have feelings for their significant other, however, will find it even more impossible to recover. These women will have a range of conflicting emotions – anger, loneliness, sadness, confusion and even depression. They may need some guidance and help to move on with their lives. This is precisely what the book aims to offer. It will provide reassurance and step-by-step assistance for getting over someone that the reader still has feelings for. While the book wouldn’t claim to have all of the answers, it will still suggest some of the coping strategies and approaches bound to diminish the heartache.
Women reading this book are usually younger and they’ve just been through a breakup. They don’t know how to collect the pieces and move on. They feel stuck, they feel in so much pain that they believe recovery is impossible. Readers will turn to this book when they are at their lowest. They will need some reassurance and guidance to continue living life without that special someone.
