What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Business & Consulting
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Want a world-class book cover for my first book entitled "Kingdom Business Success." I'll be using Create Space for my printer and need a cover including front, back, and spine in their template format. Book will be 6 x 9 trim and about 275 pages.
My target audience is Christian business owners and CEOs, although I would expect that some non-believer business people will also find and read this book.
The subtitle of this book is "Bring The Kingdom of Heaven Into Your Business." However, I'm willing to delete this subtitle based upon input from the designer. My goal is to attract readers to the book and I'm ready to throw the subtitle under the bus if it's not going to help accomplish that purpose.
Along with looking compelling on a book table or book shelf, ideally, the cover should still look great when shrunk down in size, as it will be on Amazon or some other web page.
You may not be able to judge a book by its cover, but I do believe you can sell a book by its cover. I'm looking for a world-class cover that will stand out on a book table or book shelf and will catch the eye of every business person, especially every Christian business person.
I tried looking at images that would represent a successful business. Also looked at images that could possibly represent "The Kingdom of Heaven." Couldn't find anything that would do both.
I want the designer to have a clean slate on how to go about representing the book given the title, nature of the book, and target audience. The logo for my company was designed by a non-believer so I believe the best design could possibly come from another non-believer. I'm trying to sell books and not proselytize.
Please review my 4-page Introduction chapter (attached) to get a feel for the book and target audience.
