He was great! He took my suggestions and examples and translated it into something perfect for me. I'm not a visual person, so I had a hard time describing what I wanted, but he made it work. I had a great experience!
ValentinaG listens well, is extremely creative, highly responsive, is a good communicator and very patient!

- Deanne Designs
Deanne was by far the most talented designer I have ever worked with. Her creativity is out of the box, and her eye for excellence is refreshing!
Excellent work. Super creative, easy to work with on changes, responsive/easy to communicate with and a high attention to details. I highly recommend this designer and will definitely be using her in the future. Super Happy!

How callienewman36 started their book cover journey
Her Heart's List
I am an indie author of fictional works. I have published one book before, but I need a more professional looking cover for my sophomore novel. I'm a twenty-three year old woman from Texas.
Fiction, Young Adult, Travel, Romance
When Skylar Borrows tragically died in a mysterious hiking accident, she gave her organs up for donation. Her heart went to Olivia Stormer, a tidy and perfectly pleasant woman with an exceptionally weak heart. When Olivia meets Skylar’s friends and family to express her gratitude, she gets a lot more than she bargained for. Olivia embarks on a journey to complete her donor’s bucket list with the friends she left behind, and a few stragglers along the way. What started as a trip to honor the person who saved her life turns into a life changing experience for Olivia that reveals the true reason Skylar is dead. Her Heart’s List explores the excruciating pain of loss, the rush of new love, and the strength of friendship all while keeping you guessing.

Book cover type
I like the colors, graphics, and font. It's eye catching.
I like that you need to take a closer look at it, but I don't love the black and white.
I like the simplicity and color. Although, I'd like the title to be clearer.
I like the simplicity and yellow, but this isn't my favorite.
I love how strong this is. The color, the graphic, the font; everything.
This is beautiful, but it has more ~poetry vibes~ if that makes sense.
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I don't have anything terribly specific in mind, but I would like it to be bright.
I know the book sounds a bit depressing, but I'd like the cover to be more playful. I'm imagining an anatomical heart with clock pieces, but I'm very open to different designs. I like simplicity and graphics.
What to avoid
I hate stock photos of random girls looking off whimsically in wheat fields. Please use graphics only. I'd like to avoid very dark colors as well (at least as the background is concerned)
I like the general simplicity of this cover. I don't typically love pictures of people on covers, though.
I just like how bright and colorful this is.
This is one of my favorites. It's very busy, but it's interesting and creates a mood.
