Entertainment & The Arts
I am an author of futuristic and space science fiction/fantasy full-length novels.
What's your vision?
I am looking for a book cover that can be used for both ebook and print versions with the title "Kastori Revelations." I would like the title at the top, with my name "Stephen Allan" on the bottom, with the author name having a distinct font, logo or color bar which I can use as a brand (see this author page for an example, but please do not directly rip off: http://www.amazon.com/Ben-Hale/e/B008L4V466/ref=dp_byline_cont_ebooks_1 ) (Please note that while I have specific ideas below for the cover, I am open to other ideas as long as they fit in with my request for the author name above.) For the cover itself, I would like the background to show a dark night sky with stars everywhere. I would like the top half to show the main monster of the book, a three-horned black-scaled dragon with yellow eyes (with eyes similar to: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/db/14/fa/db14fa8bd3a71bca09904b7464f23ddb.jpg ), but I would love for the dragon to be dimly colored, giving an ominous feel to the cover as if he was lurking in the shadows. A dark planet showing would be most ideal. Again, I am open to other interpretations, but when I visualize the cover, this is what comes to mind.
This is the first book in a series of at least three books, most likely closer to 5-7 books. Ideally, whoever I pick as the winner is someone I will use for future covers in the series. I would like the PSD files at the conclusion of the contest. Here is a (very!) rough draft of the blurb I am using for the book. "Their world was ravaged by war. They are the only survivors of the human race, sent to a new planet where they know nothing. And their greatest threat may not be the unknown, but each other. Crystil, a soldier with years of experience, is in charge of protecting Cyrus and Celeste, the adult children of Emperor Orthran, as they fly out to Anatolus to begin humanity anew. Hardened in her ways, Crystil is set to follow mission protocol to a T, while Cyrus, the cocksure future emperor, is determined to do things his way, leaving Celeste to play the role of peacemaker and diplomat between the two stubborn humans." In their journey, they must overcome the tragedies of the past, the mysteries of the planet, each other, and, as they will soon realize, an enemy they never quite left behind."
