NOTE: This book cover is NOT for Paperback Expert, the business that owns this 99designs account. The book cover is for Mig Williams, who is a client of ours. So disregard the account info about our business, since it’ll lead you astray if you design based on it.
Mig Williams is a real estate agent based in Memphis, Tennessee. Her website is http://www.MigWill.com.
Mig’s mission is to help people pick a good agent to help them buy or sell a house.
Mig does not want this to be a typical "real estate” books. So background images of houses will probably not strike her fancy.
Please keep the design clean and professional. The cover should not be crowded, though elaborate designs are not necessarily bad.
Colors that Mig especially likes include purple (medium to royal shades), orange, and “Tiger Blue” (the blue of the University of Memphis).
FRONT COVER DESIGN
We’re rather low on ideas here. But hey, that’s what you are for!
One idea we’ve had is to use a caricature of a real estate agent. Like this: http://www.carlacobb.com/media/cach…8b7bb3.jpg
But we may not like that after all. So if you can think of something better, please do that instead!
As the title implies, this book is about happiness. OUTRAGEOUS happiness! Mig wants people to get out of their current house, find their dream home, and live happily ever after. She is all about turning clients into raging fans, fabulously satisfied with the service they've received. Mig wants her clients to be outrageously happy!
So, the book is really about the intersection between real estate and personal satisfaction. Tie those two themes together using your brilliant graphic design skills, and you'll have a shot at winning it all.
BACK COVER DESIGN
The back cover should harmonize with the front cover. Preferable, use a single dominant color for both the front and back cover. (Other complementary colors are of course okay too.)
Aside from an author photo (included below), Mig likes the idea of referencing Memphis on the back cover. She is a native of Memphis and loves her city. Perhaps a photo of the Memphis skyline, something like this: http://www.pvzphoto.com/uploads/1/3…w2560.jpeg. Other photos are acceptable too, and this wouldn’t be the final one anyway—it’s copyrighted.
BACK COVER CONTENT
[The first line is the headline, which should be set apart from the text.]

[The book title should be italicized throughout the text.]
