I am open to creative suggestions for a design. I have uploaded some designs and book covers to give you an idea of the type of visuals I like. (These are not to be used I just uploaded as example for you.) If stock photos are used it’s best that they are free or an inexpensive one time fee.
This is a book for women, but I do not want it to be frilly or fussy, nor do I want it to look hard and cold. I want a bright and clear cover that gives a sense of strength, purpose, and warmth. I seem to be drawn to a simple design with white background, black lettering, and then a pop of color like red.
The back cover will have text. I will supply text once I get to finalists. Also the back cover and spine could bleed over from the front cover…to create the feel of one continuous image on front and back.
NOTE: Though I have said what I think I want, feel free to use some creativity too. You might be thinking something that I am not.
The AAE logos downloaded below are used for the back cover (Author Academy Elite) and spine (AAE).

You’ll never know WHO you are
until you first understand WHOSE you are. (This sentence should be bold and centered)
Have you found your purpose? Do you think too little of yourself and God’s destiny for your life? Are you sidelined by self-limiting beliefs?
Until you understand who you were created to be, you’ll struggle with dissatisfaction and discouragement.
Living an un·de·terred life is not only a possibility; it’s also a reality for every woman who understands and embodies her role as an image-bearer.
Beginning with the creation story, Un·de·terred explores our true identity. Weaving in the latest neuroscience, author, Vicki Kloosterhouse showcases how God has designed every woman to fulfill her divine calling.
Integrating her own story as a backdrop, as well as stories from women around the world, Vicki identifies six self-limiting setbacks that threaten us from understanding and embracing our true purpose:
• Over thinking
• Lack of self-confidence
• Relational aggression
• Impatience with waiting
• Searching for happiness instead of joy
By unpacking the biological and cultural factors, which shape these setbacks, Vicki equips readers with practical strategies to overcome these challenges.
We don’t need to settle for being women, uncertain about our identity. We can be un·de·terred and live lives of purpose and potential.
