Patricia Meier’s wish to have a daughter finally came true. All those wishes on birthday cakes and falling stars, answered at last. The morning of December 6, 2001, Alexandra Avis Kennedy was born. She had beautiful blue eyes and the fingers of a pianist. She was a dainty little blonde and perfect in every way. Patricia’s heart’s desire had come true. Four short years later, the dream turned into a nightmare, after Patricia received the devastating news that Alexandra had a life-threatening brain tumor; one that eventually took her life. This is a mother’s journey from the darkness back to the light. The spirit of intent in sharing this story is to provide hope for others who find themselves in similar dire straits, to provide hope during the hard times, and to let you know there is life and joy to be had again at the end of this dark night.
Parents who have lost a child or are dealing with a child with a terminal illness. Friends of those people who are seeking to understand the situation and how they can help. People dealing with grief and seeking to understand the purpose of life.
Book cover type
I would like something that is uplifting with a ladybug(s), possibly butterflies and/or dragonflies to symbolize my daughter as The Ladybug Hunter. My vision is not realism, more digital art, childlike. Bright colours. This book is 6 x 9" trim size and is 238 pages.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Book cover starts at $299.
