The King's Justice
Sharon K. Carpenter
Sharon Carpenter lives in Michigan with her husband, Tony, and is the mother of ten children. She is a homeschooling mom, blogger, and former ESL teacher. This is her first novel.
The Kingdom of Edeya is in turmoil as a secret coup is being planned against King Joshua by Nacash, the son of the king’s best friend and right-hand man. Nacash has been trained all his life to someday take his father’s place as the commander of the King’s army but has turned against the King. When King Joshua finds out about the rebellion, he strategizes with his advisors to defeat the rebellion. But when jewels are stolen from the King’s treasury, chaos ensues, and he is forced to rethink his tactics. As King Joshua and his men work to find the jewel thief and identify which of the King’s knights are involved in the rebellion, the King recalls how Nacash once loved and respected him. What brought about Nacash’s hatred for the King when once he loved the King? Will Nacash turn an entire kingdom against the King who was always loved and respected by his subjects? The King, known for his just rulings and the mercy he shows his subjects, must face his most difficult judgment yet when the thief is finally caught.
Book cover type
I would like a picture of a king sitting on his throne in deep contemplation, his hand on his beard or his chin resting on his hand. Behind the throne a royal blue canopy coming down and two white pillars on each side of the throne. The throne is on a raised platform with steps leading up to it. The king should be the focal point of the picture. I am open to new other ideas as well. I'd like the title to be on top or middle and the author's name at the bottom of the cover.
What to avoid
Please use only free stock images. It shouldn't look cartoonish or drawn, but real. I included some pics I drew to give a general idea of what I had in mind, but I can't draw realistic.

The collaboration with Ivanol was perfect on all levels. Not only did he come up with a fabulous book cover that exceeded my expectations, but the exchanges with him are friendly and extremely professional. He supported me perfectly in my project and fine-tuned his creation until everything was perfect.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
