Author of a Fantasy Fiction Series Novel which needs a cover design
What's your vision?
Book Cover Book Title: Outside Ascension Book Subtitle: Book One of the Levels of Ascension Author: Amy Proebstel Front: Subtle swirl design, two pendants (one black, one dark ruby), two gold chains flowing from the front across the spine over to the back cover. Background: Single color (your choice) Spine: Ruby tree of life pendant at top of spine by itself, with the words Book One under it, then book title, then Amy Proebstel at the bottom. Back Cover Synopsis: Two worlds, two dimensions, one planet... Tuala is a world filled with magic and mind power, travel at the speed of thought, and where the creator of the universe lives with His people. Amanda Covington finds herself abruptly transported to this parallel world after she and her fiancé have sailed into the Bermuda Triangle. Navigating her way through danger and intrigue, Amanda must keep her true identity a secret, yet never loses hope in finding a way home. I'd like the cover color to be (your choice) with two gold chain necklaces and tree of life pendants attached to each. There is also a subtle swirl design I'd like incorporated into the background. I have pictures of the chain necklaces and the two pendants I'd like to be used. The picture of the chain is much larger than wanted on the cover. I'm after the exact detail (swirling) of the chain. Imagine the chains being sized appropriately for an infant to wear. It's described in the book as being given to a newborn and worn until they are 18 years old. The chain needs to be delicate, but sturdy. The attachment of the pendants to the necklaces should be some sort of a swirling design, not the ugly flat link design that is in the attached picture.
I don't want the book cover to look like a cartoon in any way. I'd like it to look like something real that you could pick up right off of the cover (like they were laying on the cover itself). I'd like the file format to be used for both an ebook and a printed copy. The book printer has requested the design to be saved as a TIF file. They also accept JPEG and GIF files, but TIF would be the best. They have requested the file to be sent as a layered Photoshop or layered TIF file. The front of the book's size is 8.25x5.5 inches in case you need it.
