Mala is a professional designer who is responsive and talented.
- Octavian Todirut
Octavian was professional, responsive and an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. I felt safe and confident that my projected was in the best hands possible. Every single one of his designs were intelligently put together and he never "cut corners." I could tell that he takes great pride in his work and truly cares about the happiness of the people he is working for. He was always there to answer my questions, walk me through steps that I needed to do on my own and always did his best to ensure that I felt supported and confident while working with him - which I most certainly did. He was also kind and patient when I had sudden strokes of inspiration that caused me to tweak my vision for the design. I could not be happier with the experience and outcome of his work and I look forward to working with him on any and all of my design needs in the future. Feel confident in working with this designer, he is an absolute gem.
Gordan designed my book cover. His design was in a group of about 50 submissions. It stood out among the rest of them and also mirrored my design brief. Working with Gordan is a pleasure on every level. He is a real pro. I can't recommend him highly enough. He deserves a perfect 10 score from me.
followed the brief and delivered what I wanted. Most importantly understood changes I wanted to make and fixed them

This book is called Self-editing Your Novel and is designed for fiction writers who want to polish their own work before self-publishing or sending it to an agent or publisher. I want something that is eye-catching and reflects the content, so I'm open to any suggestions, but would like the font to be in capitals and big enough for it to be easily read as a thumbnail. The full text on the front cover is: Self-Editing Your Novel, The Big Picture: an editor’s tips to make your work shine and then my name: Kathy Stewart. The back cover will read: Are you a fiction writer? Do you need help with editing your work prior to publishing? Self-editing Your Novel is designed for all those who are writing fiction, namely novels, but it could also be used as a guide for those writing short stories and even non-fiction.
Drawing on her years as a writer, a manuscript assessor and as an editor, Kathy Stewart has put together a guide that should enable you to avoid the common pitfalls that might prevent your novel from reaching a wider audience.
Kathy owns and runs an editing and appraisal service situated on the Gold Coast of Australia. She has always been passionate about writing and has worked as a professional editor since 2004. Many of the books she has worked on are now selling in bookstores and online and many others are in the pipeline. Her manuscripts, [The] Chameleon [Factor] and Race Against Time, were shortlisted and longlisted respectively for the 2010 Crime Writers Association Debut Dagger Award in the UK.
The size of the book is 12.7cm wide by 20.3 cm high and you need to allow 5mm bleed both top and bottom and at the sides. The spine width is 5.093mm.
Please leave a space big enough for the barcode in the bottom right-hand corner of the back cover.
