En Tierra de Lobos
I'm a self-published author, about to upload my second novel to amazon as a Kindle and paperback. I was one of winners of the National Short story Contest in my country.
The novel is in Spanish, and the title translates into “In Land of wolves”. It is a crime novel set in the 1980’s. The main story arc follows the manhunt for Marcos García who kills one of the mobster’s bosses of a former violent period. The police turns García’s apprehension into a priority after he kills a senator and exhibits his body by hanging it from a building site for the whole city to see (which shows that García isn’t a regular hitman but one of the most dangerous killers of the country). But as they follow García’s steps, the police officers in charge of the case, Eduardo Rivera and Agustín Díaz, will peak some of the dark secrets that high profile figures (such as the dead senator) keep hidden. But not only the police chases after Marcos García. The two main mafia families of the country will spare no life to find García and make him pay. One of my ideas while writing this book was to create something different from the standard crime novels. The police officers are not “invincible” heroes with superhuman detective skills, but average men who would succumb to the truths that they will encounter. As well, there’s some presence of mysticism in the events of the novel (although they’re never referenced as such, the characters and reader can sense it).
Young and adult readers that like thrillers, crime, and contemporary fiction.
The ebook will be publish in Amazon/createspace, I guess you know the dimensions and type of filds they ask. https://kdp.amazon.com/en_US/help/topic/G200645690 The winning designer will be credited.
What to avoid
I don’t want the cliché image of a detective holding a gun, nor explosions in the background or something too dramatic. Nothing too colourful.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their book cover.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
dr.felipe22 collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
