Dalim was wonderful to work with. In the final stage of the contest, I had 3 designers whose work I liked, each one of them working with a quite similar design, but none of them feeling magic. Then, at the last moment, Dalim sailed in with Gold Ink in the title and that was what did it! The image truly clicked. She was very timely about her communication and willing to make whatever changes were desired. My only recommendation was that she let people know she is a woman. Somehow, once I found that out, I felt even happier to have chosen her.

Amazing Job!!! Great clean work and people loved my end product
Gagilend communicates extremely well. If there is any advice I have it is to always make sure you work with designers like Gagilend that follow your brief and communicate well.

6x9 inch Book cover for "As my body attacks itself: My journey with autoimmune disease, chronic pain and fatigue"
The book doesn't focus on the medical aspects - it's a personal account of the mental, emotional, social and physical struggles that come with chronic illness. It's an open view at what it's like to live with these types of diseases meant to be solace and validation for fellow sufferers and give family, friends and medical professionals a greater understanding and empathy for what it's like to live with chronic illness on a daily basis.
Almost 50 million Americans suffer from auto-immune disease so it's a huge and important area. Also, for most of the autoimmune disease, the majority of suffers are women (9 out of 10 for some of the specific diseases) - so it should definitely appeal to women.
