Hi, I’m Mark Verhees. Writer, trainer, speaker and founder of Voor Positiviteit. I’m an expert in applying positive psychology. From this expertise I inspire people to get the best from their lives and work. Not so much with scientific evidence, but with accessible information from with my personal experience. What's your vision?
Looking for a cover (front and back) design for my second book. Title: ‘de Vibe’ (translation: the Vibe) Subtitle: ‘Stap in je geluksmodus’ (translation: step into your mode of happiness) Author: Mark Verhees Format: Portrait, 8,86 inch x 6,30 inch (225 mm x 160 mm) It’s about providing people with tools to get into ‘the Vibe’. The Vibe is a state in which it’s easier to enjoy things immensely, in which you’re more productive, happy and successful. Where things flow, vibrate, light up and give energy. Where you are at your best. At home, at work, with your friends, or in your relationship. The goal is to be in this Vibe more and more often so you can really be happy. The book is filled with my personal experiences. My dream is to inspire my readers to pass the Vibe onto others, so more people will be in the vibe and they will create a positive wave or energy through the Netherlands. Like they are part of a movement. The title must like a logo on the cover, like for example ‘The Secret’, so the title can be used separately for marketing purposes and will easily be recognizable. Preferred use of colors: • Blue • or Orange No white or light background color. The cover should have enough of a contrast with a white background (for online selling purposes). It can be a graphic or a real picture. The perfect cover: • Is striking, draws immediate attention • Contains energy, excitement, movement and happiness • Contains a title that can also be used as logo • Is simple, stylish, transparent and clear (not mystical nor secretive) • Puts an instant smile on your face, makes you curious • Makes you want or desire it, makes you want to be a part of it The book will be released in November.
