I am a christian man. I preach the Gospel (the love of Jesus) in Crusades throughout Africa. This is not about religion, but a relationship with God. We can have up to 100,000 people in one Crusade. We see many people respond and many people healed at these crusades.
What's your vision?
I am writing a book. "Call of the Cushite"(Title). Sub Title -"Its Your Appointed Time". This book will be given out to those that attend our crusades. Over the next 5-10 years, this could be millions. The word "Cushite" means a black person. The book is based on a story in the bible (2 Samuel 18) about a black man (Cushite) and another man (Ahimaaz). An important message had to be delivered back to the King, to let him know his son had died in battle. Normally the designated "messenger" (Ahimaaz) would be chosen to take this message. The message had to be delivered with tact and wisdom as the King was known to kill people that did not deliver the message well. It was an honour to deliver such a message. On this particular occasion, the "Cushite" was chosen to deliver the message, rather than the designated messenger (Ahimaaz). Why? It was the "Appointed Time" for the cushite. This is what the book is about. Its a metaphor to encourage the "cushites" of Africa that it is there "Appointed Time" to take the message of Jesus Christs love, from God, into all the world. They may not be the designated "messenger", but it is there "Appointed Time". The target audience of the book is therefore black Africans. It needs to appeal to them. My thought is this for the design. A close up of 2 sets of hands. The first hands are that of a King (this symbolises God). One of the Kings fingers may have a chunky ring on it that symbols strength and authority. He is handing to the cushite hands (which are black and non gender) a scroll (which signifies the message). The scroll can be done in a way where it is enclosed (not open). Maybe in the background their can be a screen of the cross in 15%. The Font should symbolise strength, honor, commitment.
