Renwa has been really easy to deal with and I would recommend him to anyone wanting a business book cover.
Best part - his first design - was the one I went with, so he nailed the brief!

I have a Ph.D. in Mass Communication from the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications, and I write books to help educate people of all ages and education levels with areas that I have researched and worked in. After working for years, getting my doctorate, working as a professor, I returned to industry as a public relations and social media strategist, I help clients and organizations as a consultant and coach. I also am a yoga instructor and active volunteer in my community--serving on numerous boards committees. My target audience consists of people wanting to improve their understanding of various concepts and industries who are looking for an expert to teach them in an accessible way.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I want a book cover designed for a book I have written about yoga. The title of my book is, The Space Between. The subtitle is, Meta-Awareness, Framing, and Yoga. By Andrew Paul Williams, Ph.D. I have a photograph I took that I'd like used with the title over it. I am attaching a sample of the look I would like. I Want this to be attractive to people seeing to advance their understanding of the benefits of yoga and yoga philosophy. I'm aiming for something peaceful looking that will sell well in the self improvement market, to yoga students and to yoga teachers. I think this book could do well for therapists and people recovering from trauma too. I want it to be spiritual and practical seeming. It is applied information. I speak about my recovery from PTSD as a former professor at Virginia Tech. I am an expert on Framing Theory and use it as a way to explain the metaphors used in my yoga instruction that can translate from on the mat to out in the world for myself and my students.
I hope that this book is viewed as a credible guide to greater awareness of how we can use yoga to help improve our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and find greater balance of mind, body, and spirit through a thoughtful yoga practice. I want this book to be a useful guide to help people. Please see the example of the one I came up with. I've also attached the photo I'd like used for the background. Also attached is a photo of me and the logo I will use inside the book on the copyright page and on the side of the book for hard copies. I plan to publish this book as an ebook and hardcopy.
