One of the best, not to mention most determined, designers I've ever worked with. Cannot speak highly enough. Her design did cause me some extra effort though. It was absolutely creative that I had to do a rewrite on my book to incorporate the theme she created throughout the manuscript.
Simply powerful. :)

ANARCHY IN THE SOUTH OF CONGO
Lazare Kokolo is an emerging memoir author on a lifelong mission to inspire positive change, provide advocacy, and raise awareness through the power of impactful storytelling. He also aims to promote unconditional love, compassion, and solidarity.
Having endured the rebellion and spending nearly a decade in South Africa as a refugee, Lazare strives to shed some light on the persecution and tribulations people like himself experienced firsthand. Through all the rebellion, he endured persecution from government forces, forcing him to hide in the forests for nearly a year.
In 1998, the Republic of Congo was recovering from a monstrous civil war in which Denis Sassou N'guesso muscled his way back into power. One man finds himself on the precipice of change for both himself and his country. A quick trip to the Mouyondzi District turns violent as a rebellion breaks out. Soldiers, who once fought for president-elect Pascal Lissouba, waged war against the new administration causing a few regions in the South to descend into chaos and violence. The rebels took control of villages and cities. With one way in and no way out, anarchy swept across the South and garnered national attention. The government had no other option but to deploy the army to fight the rebellion forcing thousands to seek refuge in the forests for several weeks. In this hauntingly true story of slaughter and survival, the author recounts the horrors that changed the course of Congolese history.
