How docmcfly started their book cover journey
TMJ Rehab: A Functional Approach
Dr. Jeff Dolgos
Dr. Jeff Dolgos has been practicing dentistry for more than 20 years, and has always been fascinated with the way the jaw works…or doesn’t work. His own experiences with tooth-grinding, jaw pain, and many different types of mouthguards led him on a relentless search to find out why these problems occur. This search began during his residency in the US Air Force, and intensified during a long course of study at the prestigious Pankey Institute. He now implements a blend of neuromuscular and biomechanical concepts into his treatment program, utilizing regenerative injection techniques, laser therapy, and a variety of orthotic devices to stabilize the jaw joints and improve their function. Dr. Dolgos continues to seek out new and creative ways to understand and manage TMJ Dysfunction. He holds fellowships in the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, he is a certified instructor with the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry, and a practicing Reiki Master.
This book is a therapeutic workbook for people experiencing jaw pain and TMJ dysfunction. It outlines a 12-week program to help people overcome these problems and reduce their symptoms.
Typically people between the ages of 25 and 50, 75% will be female, searching for ways to improve their health and wellbeing.
Book cover type
I like the contrasts, and colors, and the simplicity of the images
I like the creativity with the ladder
I like the playfulness of the font arrangement, contrasted with the image of the lightbulb in the mind
I like the feeling of directness and motivation
What colors do you want to see in your design?
I'd like a cover design that will grab potential readers emotionally. The biggest factor that would cause someone to buy my book would be jaw pain.
