REVENGE IS NOT JUSTICE
Author of 4 novels. Retired executive. MA degree in psychology. Officer in the US Army. Married.
The second in a series of crime mysteries featuring Santa Fe Detective Clay Bryce. Santa Fe police detective Clay Bryce is struck by a driver in a hit-and-run attempt on his life. A Bible verse scrawled on his hall mirror hints at revenge as the motive, but the suspect could be any one of the dozens of criminals he has faced over the years. Circumstantial evidence points to John Grainger, former executive of the Indian Bend Casino, charged a year earlier in a felony sex case. But Grainger has an alibi—he claims he was with the beautiful Arianna Arrington, the scheming trophy wife and heir apparent of billionaire Hayden Arrington. When Hank Kincaid, the Assistant District Attorney who worked with Clay on Grainger’s Indian Bend case is also targeted, Clay’s hit-and-run investigation spirals into a tangle of assaults and murders.
Adult men and women.
Book cover type
Beautiful blonde woman with a dark-haired man. Looking down from mountain view at the image of Detective Bryce) being struck by a white SUV while jogging in the early morning darkness. Bryce should be shown flying through the air from being struck. A southwest scene of adobe-styled homes in the background. (I am open to any other design that is suggestive of the storyline I describe in my blurb.)
