The title and subtitle of my book is "Conformity is for Broke People: 10 Success Secrets of the Elite E-Commerce Entrepreneur." I want my book cover to look clean and powerful. It also has to have a tinge of badass to it. Whether you want to create a front cover using the title and subtitle alone or add some eye catching symbol or imagery that you think would fit the title of my book, it's totally acceptable to me. I'm open to creativity when it comes to the front cover.
In terms of the color scheme for the cover I want the colors to be bold and vibrant. Something that will catch peoples attention. Some examples that I like are all 3 of TIm Ferriss' books, all 3 of Gary Vaynerchuk's books, Chris Guillebeau's book "The $100 Startup", Ramit Sethi's book, "I Will Teach You To Be Rich", and MJ De Marco's book, "The Millionaire Fast Lane." I also thought Ryan Holiday's font style and positioning for the title of his book "Trust Me, I'm Lying" was very eye catching. Don't copy their color schemes or font types though. I want originality. I would also be open to seeing potential covers that include a shopping cart (e-commerce), or a person lounging in a luxurious, exotic location while doing business on their laptop (financial freedom). Lastly, I REALLY liked my previously chosen cover, but the image is already being used by another best selling author on the cover of his book. I would also be open to seeing covers that look similar to my previous cover.
Here is the image that I chose to have on my last cover that I really liked but is being used by another best selling author:
The back cover of the book will have my picture (see below for attached image) in the bottom right corner of the book. It should take up the bottom right quarter of the back cover. Edit the picture so I'm on the cover from the waist up. On the top of the back cover will be a summary of what people can expect from reading my book. On the bottom left quarter of my book will be 2 testimonials.
