Title: The Pharaoh's Builders Subtitle: Book one of the Pharaoh's Land Series Author: Heather Perrywinkle Smith Subtitle of Author name: A novel by #1 best selling author Size: I do not yet have exact dimensions. It will need to be something close to 5" x 7" for the front cover, so total dimensions: 11.7" wide x 7" tall. Continuous image from front cover to spine to back cover. Focus of imagery on front cover portion (right side). The back portion (left side) will be mostly covered with writing. IMPORTANT: If you choose to have a pyramid in the image, Only one (1) pyramid please. Also, the pyramid is new (not crumbling or deterioriated) and only paritally built in this story. MAIN CHARACTOR: If you depict the charactor Bilal, he should be dressed like a slave or a guard. The main character is a slave named "Bilal" who is 18 years old, of northern European heritage so he and his parents are the only blue eyed, blonde haired people in all the land. He has long hair, down to his waste, usually braded. He usually only wears sandals, and loincloth with leather belt. He and his parents are also larger than anyone else in height and overall size. If you depict a pharaoh, he should be egyptian looking with dark hair and dark eyes. You are free to do anything based on the description I will provide next. It can be literal, or just the "vibe" of what I am talking about. Your interpretation. The image I have attached with the sunset behind the 3 pyramids you can use, or not at your discretion. I would ask that the pyramid to the right and left be removed in the image I provided if you use it. The largest center pyramid can be only partially built with the remaining unbuilt portion being represented energetically. I also attached a sample version that uses this image. The rest of the images are just for inspiration. The story of the novel is set in Egypt 10,000 years ago at the building of the first pyramid. In this book only the first twenty feet or so of height is built. An underlying topic of the entire book is awareness of energy and talking to the molecules to have them do what you ask.
This is a direct exerpt from the first chapter of the novel, to give you an idea of the story and inspire ideas for the cover: "CHAPTER 1.... It is day’s end and all have left the deep and gouging quarry, save for one man. Standing on the very edge of the precipice, the Pharaoh's land spreads as far as his eyes can see. The long shadows of day's end as the sun sinks into the horizon cools the blaze of discontent filling Bilal's very being. His heart aches with the smallness of his life. As he reaches out into the glory of colors washing over the land stretched out before him, he takes in a deep breath. A thread of lightness seeping into his world with the intake of air. Gazing upon the expanse before him ushers a great relaxation deep in his body. The hot wind blows up the face of the rocks and flows across his body invigorating the sense of relaxation. The heat of the wind seeps into him softening the hardness, the bracing against the harshness that eats at him. Unclenching his fists, he sighs again, letting go, expanding. As he drops his barriers to the ugliness of his life, he allows in the beauty before him. The wind becomes a caress of his body. Like gentle and nurturing feathers gliding across his bare chest…his neck…his cheeks; until the caress becomes a caress of his very being, nurturing, healing. The sense of expansion continues within him now, within as well as outward. It is as though the wind is blowing right through him, cleansing the space between the molecules. He takes another deep breath, reaching farther into the space of air and sky and heat and silence of the land before him. Another breath and he allows his senses to sink deep into the rock under his feet, down and down into the richness of mineral. It is only in these rare moments of respite, when the other laborers and enforcers have left, that he has the slightest sense of being. That choice itself becomes real. One step forward and he can plunge to his death. One more breath and he knows another possibility hints at existing. It comes with the wind, the heat, the spaciousness that overcomes his senses when he is alone, standing on the edge - where his choice makes a difference...to him. It is these moments he knows he has the will to continue living. He will find something greater. He will be something greater. Bilal steps back from the edge with a new sense of possibility, and heads into the waning light of day and into the darkness of his everyday life. Stepping out from behind the mountainous pile of rubble hiding her form his view, she wonders; could he be the oneness so rare in the untrained? He is different, not just his imposing stature. Not just his light skin and blonde hair, or that he is a foreigner in bloodline. It is his presence, his being. He stands out even if he did not look different. She had seen him once before standing on the ledge, alone. She could sense the struggle, the internal conflict. It was one choice, would he jump or would he stay? She knew he would not jump, he did not. It was the tug and tingle of the oneness that told her this. She would watch him transform, embracing and inviting the oneness, invoking it, becoming it. He had no idea how strong it was in him. She watched him walk back to the pillars marking The Pathway. She watched the familiar blurring and ripple of air as he passed through the space between the stone pillars; The Pharaoh’s gift to the people. Two pillars set like a doorway that allow the people to travel in the blink of an eye anywhere marked with pillars in the Pharaoh’s land. Think of the marker at the location you wish to go to and you are transported in a blink to that location. If the space between the pillars is clear it is open for travel. If there is a blur and ripple in the air of the space between the pillars, then someone is about to come through at your location. It is the custom to stand to the right so people don’t run into each other coming into or out of the Pathway. With the granite rock pit cleared of people, Angyet could start her task. She walks to the towering stone let loose off the cliff earlier today. A base stone. It is massive, five-men high and twenty long. Work was progressing with the construction of the great pyramid. It was built up to the third level of the massive base, it would rise a little more quickly when this level was complete, with the progressively smaller stones being possible. Angyet's hand gently runs across the surface of the stone, sensing the chisel marks the laborers left behind. The brute muscle so many considered the only possibility left a vibration of intensity like a thin cloud on the stones. No matter, it would contribute to her work like fuel for a fire. All energies contribute when functioning from the infinite awareness that is truly available. "Simple fools" she thought to herself. "If only they could know the truth in front of them." Angyet is a Builder. The Builder to be exact. Be it physical actualization or something untouchable - she is of the few with the capacity and awareness to bring into existence that which is requested. She creates, simply by request and the capacity for being the oneness. It is she who makes the choice to be communion with both the molecules and the space between the molecules. Appearing as magic to those without the eyes to see; it is both natural to her and a capacity she developed over years of practice. To be a Builder brings her the greatest joy. Though she is surrounded by those who would use her powers against the people of the Pharaoh’s Land to control and have dominion over all if they could. For at this time it is only she who has powers so great she can alter reality itself. She knows this and trusts other people’s knowledge of the extent of this only to a small few; the Pharaoh, his daughter and Naruub. As the Builder of Pharaoh's Land She is considered one of the Pharaoh's greatest assets. Rare and prized Angyet enjoys a freedom few possess. To have the favor of the Pharaoh is an enviable position for most. She carries it well. No one would suspect the truth of the razors edge she walks to keep the House of Pharaoh intact and with a future they all could live with. Standing alone in the failing light of the quarry, she continues to run her hands across the surface of the stone before her. As she moves that familiar thrum begins to turn on in her body and being. The sensation intensifies. It is the vibration of the very molecules themselves singing. Now she will begin. She deepens her breath, the relaxation increasing the intensity of the energies running through her body. She reaches out with her body and being calling upon the oneness to fill her, flow through her and pour out from her. Like a soft breeze whispering possibility, inviting, invoking movement… the molecules begin to pulse and hum as they are caressed by the oneness. Her hands tickle as the energy increases. Like a swarm of bees sensed but not seen or heard. A humming, buzzing vibration emanates out of her hands into the stone, into the space between the molecules of the stone itself. The chisel marks on the stone, sharp and gouging begin to quiver and the edges melt. The ripple of change radiates out in waves, like rough water suddenly calming to utter smoothness, the reverse of dropping a pebble in water. What was only moments ago a rough sea is now a lake of glass that is the surface of the massive stone. The rough hewn rock is now a rectangle piece of precision; perfectly straight, perfectly square on every edge, to the exact proportions required." Copy right 2015, all rights reserved.
