Great cover - artful and sophisticated. Adressed all issues with professionalism and speed. Thanks a lot.
- Fe Melo
My experience working with Fe was really exceptional. She's obviously very talented, but also responsive, flexible and kind. I hope to have more opportunities to hire Fe for illustration.
Fantastic logo design, although I was happy with it, he did a few more iterations which improved the logo, and give some good options for different uses and placement.
Easy to work with, gets things done, communicates well. Easy 5 Stars
- Corto Maltese
Corto is very intuitive. Has a very natural grasp of a book's essence and is able to convey that in a way that is sure to surprise and delight.

A nature book aimed at kids 5-7 years old that encourages them to go explore their own backyard or nearby park and to actively investigate the natural world. The book includes activities that require kids to use a magnifying glass, binoculars, measuring tape, thermometer and bug jar to learn for themselves about birds, trees, flowers, and bugs, by getting outside and actually finding/measuring/observing and then recording what they find.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I need a book cover that is colorful and whimsical enough to appeal to kids aged 5-7 but also appeal to parents who may be eager for their kids to get outside and enjoy science and nature. Ideally I would like the cover to set the tone and theme that could then be used throughout the book. I am considering including a character to go along on the 'backyard adventure' with the reader.
The book is specific to Dubai and so includes things like date palm trees, the desert rose, bougainvillea and birds and that are common in the region (hoopoe, white-eared bulbul, pigeon). The book will also include a glossary of local trees, flowers and birds they are likely to see in their neighborhood.
I haven't decided on a final title yet, but ideas include In Your Own Backyard or The Big Backyard Book (a kids guide to discovering nature in Dubai)
