A house full of sunshine is a creative home-making blog. I blog about interior decorating, organisation, kids activities, recipes and inspiration for parenting. My target audience is stay-home mums who want to live their most creative life at home. You can view my blog here to get a feel for what I do: http://www.ahousefullofsunshine.com
What's your vision?
I need a cover for my new e-book, entitled "Your beautiful life." The tag line is "Living your most creative life at home with kids". Author: Karen Schravemade. The book is an inspirational guide to living your most creative life at home. The cover should be in PDF format, size 6 x 9 inch, 3200 x 4800 pixels. The aesthetic I'm after is artsy, with a hand-drawn illustration feel. (No stock photography please.) The title must be prominent so that it will stand out at smaller sizings on my blog. Although kids are mentioned in the tagline, I don't want the cover to have a "kiddish" feel, as the book is targeted toward women. The key words to focus on are "beautiful" and "creative". I'm visualising a floral theme, with possibly a brown kraft paper coloured background, whimsical black line drawing of lilies and flowers, bright (even neon) colouring on some of the flowers to help them emerge from the page in contrast to the rest, perhaps watercolour splotches or paint dribbles, and perhaps hand-lettering for the title. A juxtaposition of vintage floral and a bright, almost edgy modern aesthetic. The hand-drawn element is important to me to create the artistic, creative feel I'm after. I've put together an inspiration board of images on Pinterest: http://www.pinterest.com/karenschrav/book-cover-inspiration/ These aren't necessarily to be taken literally, but are more to give an overall impression of the feel I'm going for here.
I'll also need a 3-D rendering of the book, which will be used in my marketing.
