I have worked with a number of online service providers and Meella is by far the most knowledgable, reliable, experienced, helpful, trustworthy and creative professional I've had the pleasure to work with! I have no hesitation to recommend her services to anyone. She's prompt to respond, polite and a sheer delight to work with. I love the cover she designed for me!!! Look at her portfolio and you'll agree that there's no need to go to anyone else!!! She's fantastic!
How floatingisland515 started their book cover journey
It Could Happen Here
A Midwestern native. Greg Watson resides in North Alabama with his wife Mignon and their cat Reilly. It Could Happen Here is his first novel.
How many of our opinions are created for us? How easily can our beliefs be manipulated or marginalized? Is what we read online part of an online democracy where all beliefs are equal? Set in our world of social media, Internet comment boards, twenty-four hour news updates, and ubiquitous cell phones, It Could Happen Here explores possible answers to these questions. Along the way, the book explores institutional cover-up, violence against women, teen angst, and campus evangelism in a secular age. Most significantly, the novel is unabashedly preachy, and contains a thinly veiled missionary plot designed to influence the reader to embrace Christianity. You have been warned. Read it at your own risk!
Hopefully, it will appeal to public in general. But it will likely appeal to a Christian audience the most, since it's probably more of Christian theological/dramatic thriller.
Book cover type
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Thank you to all who have responded with designs. A thought that I had for the cover is a chess board with human pawns being moved by a human hand. Also, if the hand could possibly have a cufflink labeled Proteus. This is the IT company portrayed in the novel. Thanks for your help.
What to avoid
I would to not include Christian symbols. I don't want anyone to get the opposite impression of what the novel is about -- Christians manipulating the public. The novel is Christian, but it's more about the manipulation or watering down of Christian beliefs.
