Katherine B. (Kate) Moorehead is the tenth dean of St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral in Jacksonville, Florida. Kate graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Vassar College and graduated cum laude with a master of divinity degree from Virginia Theological Seminary. She is the author of several books, including Angels and the Bible, Resurrecting Easter; and Healed: The Truth about Mary Magdalene. Kate has three sons, Luke, Jake, and Max.
Book description
As the world changes rapidly, Christianity is changing. How do we know if we are being faithful? How do we know if we are practicing our faith adequately? Just as doctors measure vital signs when determining the health of the body, so we must learn to read the vital signs of the life of the spirit as we move into a post-Christian age. We must learn how to cultivate and nourish our faith by paying attention to four signs. These signs are: God, Give, Grow, and Group. This book will describe how to learn about and listen to each vital sign so that a practitioner of the faith has a means to care for her spiritual life.
