Parenting AAA: God's Goals and Guidelines for Generational Spiritual Reproduction
Timothy Paul Geist
Timothy Paul Geist grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota. God used the Navy to bring Tim repeatedly to Whidbey Island where he trained for the ministry in Bible Baptist Church. Tim transitioned from the military to full-time ministry in 2008. Pastor Geist and his wife Katie have been blessed to raise five children unto the Lord—by His grace!
Christian parenting. More specifically, the subtitle points to Christian spiritual foundations getting passed from one generation to the next, to the next.
Book cover type
Something that grabs someone perusing covers that screams, "Stop what you're doing and read this book!" The graphic should immediately and intuitively manifest the subject/title. The graphic should show (somewhat abstract O.K.) the joy of raising generations of children. Cover/page sizes likely 6 x 9. Uncluttered, crisp, modern feel. I find myself gravitating towards a white background, with splashes of primary colors. The attached files are my playing on PPT, but you are not beholden to my layout or color scheme. The back verbiage is not 100% fully edited.
What to avoid
No rebellious-looking teens in family graphic. Christian symbology (e.g. churches, bibles, crosses) not required, but O.K. for design if not "forced" or cliche. Avoid moms and daughters in tight pants, or short skirts. Desire the females to be in dresses or skirts with hemline below the knee.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their book cover.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
TIM.GEIST collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
