So the book is about a little imp. I will attacha picture of an imp for you. Its about the so called "impdoor". An imp is moving into the house of a family with little children to make the waiting game till christmas easier for them. The imp lives behind a little door somewhere in the familys house. So the two things i defenitly need is an imp on the cover and that little door. Maybe you can design an imp by yourself or you can find something on stock. But this two things must appear on the cover. Also it should catch the attention and it should be clear on first look that this is a christmas book. Work with christmas colors.
