Trolle1 got their new book cover by running a design contest:
Book cover: Sex after 50

What's your vision?
I want a book cover that meets the requirements from Createspace (paper book) and Smashwords (ebook). The title of the book is "Sex after 50 - Fact or Fiction?" and it has a subtitle (which is not going to be on the cover): "Changing Beliefs about Aging and Intimacy". The book was published in Danish 19 months ago and I can mail that cover as inspiration.
Nothing too sweet, pinkish or romantic, no pictures of people on the cover. I like a design that's clean but not tame.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Book cover starts at $299.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their book cover.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
Trolle1 collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.

And then… they selected a winner!
An incredible and very talented designer. Took instruction well and revised my covers as many times as I asked. I would definitely recommend this artist to anyone who needs a fantastic book cover made.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
