The final blurb will be in German, but in a nutshell the story is about Lucy, a Yoga teacher from London who inherited a big house right at the lake 'Tegernsee' which she wants to convert into a small Yoga Hotel. She faces quite a bit of resistance from the local community but as she meets new friends and finds her own strength, she also discovers that Tegernsee might finally mean 'home ' for her. Notes for the designer: - Tegernsee is an actual, well-known place in Bavaria/Germany - If the hotel is to be shown, it would be Chalet-style as found in Swiss skiing resorts. Wooden, cosy, yet light and elegant. The style shouldn't come across as to winterly/Christmassy though as the story takes place in the spring. - The contest is for a pre-order, so title, blurb etc. are still subject to change. The designer would have to be willing to make small adjustments as a part of the contest afterwards (nothing major - just blurb and possibly title.) - This is the first cover in a series, so the cover should lend itself to sequels and the designer can be certain of follow-up work.

Women between 35 and 55 who are into romance, surprises, a nice lifestyle and the discovery of self-love.

Paperback

The books is supposed to be a 'getaway' from everyday life. The cover should invoke a sense of longing to get away/go on holidays/disappear for while. It should be positive, light, 'healthy'. A feel-good book.

It shouldn't look too old and kitsch like many typical romance novels do but can also convey a sense of fun/an easy going lifestyle.
