The Avian Rebbe Takes Flight
Aaric S. Eisenstein
I bought my first camera just as Covid-19 hit, in anticipation that “alone and outside” was about to be our new reality. Technical skills developed over time. Artistic awareness grew. I did not, however, anticipate the overpowering joy of recognizing Divine gifts in both the natural world and religious tradition. Sharing these gifts is what I do as the Avian Rebbe. I was born in 1969 and raised mostly in San Antonio. I left to get a degree in Political Economy from Williams College. I then earned an MBA from the University of Texas. Prior day-jobs have ranged from owning a software company to running a geopolitical intelligence publishing operation. Currently I license patents for an inventor. I live in Austin, TX with my son and am a grateful member of Congregation Agudas Achim where each Friday service I have the honor of sharing thoughts about these pictures.
The Avian Rebbe teaches Jewish wisdom seen in the beauty of birds.
Average age - 40-65 2/3 readers female Jewish Interest in nature, birds, photography.
