Leah’s background is Music Marketing and having worked in an industry with very few women at the top spent the majority of her time mentoring other women to reach their potential. Leah has been enlisted into the Women In Music Roll On Honor which recognises game changers within the industry. This sparked an interest in looking back at Women from all backgrounds throughout history of how they made a difference and broke barriers all through their creativity, courage and determination. Was surprising to see how many of these remarkable women have rarely been mentioned in our history books and was certainly not taught about when Leah was at school. These are women we should all know about.

The book is about 80 remarkable women who made a difference, inspired and broke barriers. Throughout history has seen some of the most inspirational women who have been pioneers in their industries whether fighting for women's rights and racial equality, defining the worlds of science, mathematics, aviation and literature. Their feats have finally started to gain the recognition they so deserve. These women have undeniably changed the world for the better and these role models of the extraordinary serve as an inspiration for existing and future generations not only for women but for men too.
