I love this design. Milan showed marvelous creativity -- he created the theme for a book cover with only minimal references and no guidelines and managed to fit the author's imagination.

This design was one of the first ones and caught my eye right away and it was at the top of my list the whole time. It was the most professional looking and the most artistic vision I got. Very easy to work with. Thank you!
I love the design and the font. I didn't have to make any changes to the original idea, it just fit right away. Very easy to work and communicate with! Thank you!

D. M. Cox
D.M. Cox can usually be found behind the wheel of a semi truck or behind the screen of his Kindle. He's written two screenplays, dozens of poems and his debut novel, As You Were. He currently resides in Michigan where he spends the majority of his free time with his children.
Three targets left. Kill them. Kill all of them.
Michael Briggs might have had a past before his time as a Special Forces Marine, but he has little memory left of it. Now a contracted assassin for a clandestine agency run by a ruthless woman known as The Director, Michael has one final mission to complete before he's free to live the peaceful life he's always wanted. One last mission, with three simple targets. Easy.
But when Michael meets Kiara, a lonely shopkeeper whose bubbly personality hides a tortured past, his priorities suddenly change. Tempted by the possibility of a normal life with the girl of his dreams and haunted by ghosts from his past, this final mission soon becomes more challenging than Michael expected. Is he capable of being the man Kiara deserves despite the darkness and violence beginning to bubble up through the cracks?
A twisted noir thriller that is equal parts action-packed suspense and tragic love story, As You Were is the tale of one man's struggle to escape his past long enough to finally experience life.
Fans of neo noir... Of books like American Pyscho and Fight Club. I would say the age are probably 18-35. I want to appeal to both genders, but realistically probably men will be target demographic at first, although the love story is a strong one in the novel.
What colors do you want to see in your design?
I'm looking for more of a fight club, American Pyscho feel to the book. More abstract/surreal. I'm open to all colors or ideas. I'm interested in different fonts. Think Romeo and Juliet(Baz Luhrman) meets Fight Club.
What to avoid
I don't really want a discernible person or character. I'm more interested in artful colors and cool fonts.
