Presenting the winner and runners up from the San Francisco Warriors logo contest!

Floyd Hijada

Upon hearing the news that the Golden State Warriors would be moving to San Francisco, we asked our designers to reimagine the existing Golden State Warriors logo to give it a more San Francisco feel. Just like our many other community contests, the turnout was amazing. The existing logo is already regarded as one of the best in the NBA so a redesign posed a definite challenge, but we believe our community absolutely delivered.

After receiving over 1,200 entries from our designers, we are proud to announce the winner as well as celebrate the many other slam dunk designs that we had the pleasure to receive!

The winner is ID designs team

ID designs team did a great job of imagining a more San Francisco-rooted version of the current Golden State Warriors logo. It preserves the retro style and minimal aspect of the existing logo but amps the iconic city imagery in a well-integrated manner.

Thanks again to all of the designers who participated and everyone who voted to help select the winner!

They were welcome to play around with clichés like wheat beer, pretzels and bavarian sausages—so long as it…
