And the rebus contest winners are…

Alex Bigman

The rebuses — puzzles that use pictograms to form a word or phrase — have been rolling in for the past week and we have been LOVING it! Our community really flexed its wit and produced some seriously clever stuff.

There can only be three winners, though. For their conceptual heft and stylistic polish, these three absolutely earned their t-shirts.

Congratulations to the winners!

“Pay Phone,” “Winter Winds,” “Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall,” “White Blank Page,” “Party Rock,” “Tongue Tied,” “Princess of China,” “Call Me Maybe” and “Tonight We Are Young,” by nabeeh

But let’s not stop there. The runners-up were mighty impressive too. Can you figure these out?

Following the success of our Oakland and Berlin community contests, our European office set out to launch another one; this time in search of an amazing Munich poster. The results were, once again, spectacular. Designers were asked to create a poster design related to Munich’s traditional character, without lapsing into stereotypes.
